Consultation meeting with Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) and Fatwa Commission-Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI)

Consultation meeting with Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) and Fatwa Commission -Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) was held on October 27, 2022. The meeting mainly discuss and identify all the key issues that the LPH face in conducting inspection and/or testing of product halalness. LPH alongside BPJPH and MUI are three main actors in the implementation of guarantees for halal products in Indonesia. BPJPH as the regulator and issuer of certificates. LPH as a product halal examiner and Fatwa Commission of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) as the party authorized to determine the halalness of the product.
